Experience dog sledding in the fantastic nature of Finnmark – authentic, locally sourced and unique culinary delights, and homely accommodation. The adventure begins right outside your door; no cars, no large crowds, but a rich courtyard surrounded by cozy pine forest. Trasti & Trine gather, harvest, prepare – and offer delightful flavors in the bakery, cafe, or through a fine dining menu in the restaurant.
The cabins place you right in the heart of the Arctic nature, with a wild pine forest just outside the door and squirrels playing in the trees. This is a place of peace and relaxation, where comfort and aesthetics are valued. Accommodations are not offered on a large scale, making it easier to ensure that you, as a guest, feel seen and at home. The aim is to make you feel like part of the family while making it easy for you to enjoy your own time.
At Trasti & Trine, 60 Alaskan huskies, some chickens, a cat, and, most importantly, many friendly guests call it home. The dog yard, where everything began, remains the starting point for exciting activities both in summer and winter.
