Gamlebyen Hotel

Welcome to Gamlebyen Hotel - in the heart of the Old Town in Fredrikstad, a small hotel with a great location in Northern Europe's oldest fortress town, surrounded by beautiful nature and historic buildings. The house is built in timber in a late classicist style and has a distinctive design.

The hotel has 16 cozy rooms, all differently decorated with their own personal style. The rooms are newly refurbished in historic style with a warm and friendly atmosphere and equipped with TV and free wifi. The Holberg suite has a full kitchen and a larger seating area - perfect for smaller courses and board meetings, gatherings and other events. 

Gamlebyen Hotell Fredrikstad enjoys a unique location in the heart of the Old Town. Here you can have a coffee with the locals on the “gossip bench” or jugabenken right outside. 

Breakfast is served at Restaurant VÆRK a few steps away, where you can get à la carte later in the day.
