Join us for a cozy and memorable Christmas at Brosundet, where the streets of Ålesund glow with festive lights, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. December brings short days and long nights, but that just makes the stars shine brighter, and the Christmas spirit even stronger. It’s the perfect time to relax by the fireplace, take in the calm of the season, and enjoy the special traditions that make Christmas so magical. 

Every day at 4:00 PM during the holidays, we light the firepit, and in our shop, you can sample Christmas treats and sip hot cocoa. Kids can roast marshmallows for free. The Sundet gym and bath are open throughout Christmas, offering a sauna, outdoor bathtubs, yoga, and workout options. If you're feeling generous, you can also leave a gift under the hotel’s tree for someone who could use some extra holiday cheer.

✨ Christmas Eve:
Wake up to a Christmas stocking on your door and join the Christmas service at Ålesund Church. A festive Christmas dinner is served in the lounges, with a cozy fire and lovely holiday atmosphere.

✨ Christmas Day:
Stroll through the Christmas-decorated Ålesund and enjoy a hot cocoa from the shop, followed by dinner at Apotekergata No. 5.

✨ Boxing Day:
Warm up in the hotel’s sauna or outdoor bath, and enjoy a refreshing dip from the pier in Brosundet.

✨ December 27:
Start the day with yoga at Sundet gym and bath at 9:00. In the evening, enjoy an intimate Christmas concert with snacks and drinks by the fireplace in the hotel’s lounges at 18:00.

✨ December 28:
The hotel offers a special Christmas edition of its traditional Afternoon Tea.
