As temperatures drop and nights grow longer, the Northern Lights grace the sky with their enchanting dance.

💫 Day 1: Check-In and a taste of Northern Norway
Upon arrival, check in and unwind in our tranquil surroundings. Surrounded by nature’s calm, enjoy watching squirrels and birds play outside from your large windows. The next morning, we recommend opening the curtains to fully immerse yourself in the serene forest view – it feels like a secret retreat far from everyday stress.
At 6:00 PM, savor a three-course meal inspired by Northern Norwegian traditions – a true taste of the North.
💫 Day 2: Foraging, Cooking Class, and Northern Lights
Today, engage in our foraging traditions starting at 10:40 AM. Join us in the Arctic wilderness to pick ingredients that will later be used in a cooking class, offering a deeper appreciation for the food you enjoy. At 5:00 PM, enjoy a two-course rustic meal in our cozy restaurant.
As night falls, embark on a new adventure at 6:40 PM. Join Glød Explorer for a search for the magical Northern Lights, with a chance to witness the Aurora Borealis dancing across the starlit sky.
💫 Day 3: Adventures and Culinary Delights
On your third day, choose your adventure. At 10:00 AM, you can opt for a
thrilling dog sledding experience through the Arctic forest or participate in a two-hour cooking class to enhance your culinary skills.
Regardless of your choice, lunch is served at 2:00 PM, featuring Arctic-inspired flavors. After lunch, relax in the sauna at 4:00 PM, an integral part of local culture blending Norwegian, Sami, and Kven traditions.
The day concludes with a five-course gourmet dinner at 6:00 PM, taking you on a culinary journey through the rich flavors of the Arctic, from mountain to sea and forest. After such an enriching day, you’ll sleep soundly before your departure the next day.
