Experience Geiranger

Geiranger offers a variety of activities and experiences! There are fantastic hiking opportunities right outside the hotel door – both short and longer hikes. We highly recommend a visit to Westerås Gard, where you can meet goats and llamas and enjoy waffles, ice cream, or a delicious lunch in the restaurant in the old barn. Geirangerfjorden is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. If you want to learn more about UNESCO, geology, landscapes, and the history of Geiranger, we recommend visiting the Norsk Fjordsenter, located opposite the hotel. They also have a separate exhibition and activity room for children.

Take the spectacular Waterfall Walk along the Geiranger River from the hotel to the center of Geiranger. Here, you'll get up close to the rushing waterfall, and there are several fantastic photo spots along the way. Other popular photo spots you should visit include Flydalsjuvet and Ørnesvingen.
